11 Infiltration Wells Built in Ciracas

Until now, 11 infiltration wells have been recorded as having been built in Ciracas Urban Village, East Jakarta. Until the end of December, 40 infiltration wells are targeted to be built.

We're optimistic all can be completed in December 2024

Ciracas Urban Village Head, Sudarna stated the well construction was focused on areas where flooding frequently occurs. To smoothen it, five personnel and one drilling mechine had been alerted in the location.

"We're optimistic all can be completed in December 2024," he expressed, Friday (9/6).

He detailed those 11 wells were located on Jalan Raya Pengantin Ali RT 08/06, RT 05/06, RT 09/06, RT 01/06, and on Jalan Penganten Ali 1, and RT 02/06 with two points.

Then Jalan Mahakam RT 10/06, Ciracas Prima RPTRA, at Gang Haji Gamin RT 08/01, Jalan Mustika Ratu RT 12/08, and Jalan Raya Centek RT 02/03.

"We urge the community and CSR to support the construction of these wells in an effort to anticipate flooding," he added.

Ciracas Urban Village Economy and Development Section Head, Rustri Manurung added the wells made were on average one meter in diameter and 18 meters deep. Each well could accommodate about 1.8 cubic meters of water.

"It has been ongoing since May," he stated.
